We stayed at the Rocky Mountain Park Inn hotel to which this restaurant is attached and had a complimentary breakfast. The hotel was so disappointing, but the nice breakfast pulled the entire experience up to "satisfactory" -- and I would have said that was impossible before breakfast. The $11.99 buffet was basic and honestly uninspired but looked decent, steam table with some store-bought Danishes and cut up cantaloupe. It would have "worked" if it had had to. We decided to order off the menu. The Belgian waffle was soft and tasted kinda like it could have been retrieved from the steam table. Came with a good amount of syrup and melted butter. Okay. But ... Here where it got better -- The breakfast burrito was really, really good! We got it without the cheese and asked for egg beaters. The breakfast potatoes with it were crispy, kinda like little square French fries. Big chunks of onion and pepper. The orange juice was tasty as well. The carafe of coffee was hot and strong, just the way I like it. Best of all, we had a very nice waiter (Nik from Serbia) who was very kind to my chatty parents. He did an excellent job taking care of us. The Asian lady who was the hostess was also really nice and welcoming.

Had breakfast here because it's attached to the Inn where we are staying. A Sunday morning and all they are offering is a buffet?! Our server was Jennifer...the host had to tell her MORE THAN ONCE that we sat in her section, we ordered coffee and she poured it from another guest's pot, she spent her entire time showing another guest pictures instead of checking on her tables. As she is bent over showing pictures, her black lace panties were in my face. I was disgusted! Once another server confronted her about being on her phone, she went in back and began yelling at everyone about it. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! By this time, we are out of coffee, out of milk and THIRSTY! Jennifer now goes BACK to the other guest and continues showing pictures from her Kenny Chesney concert. I have been in the food service industry for decades and I would send this server to kick rocks! She is horrible, ruined my appetite and really upset me! We did NOT tip her, but gave a nice tip to another server that we called upon to help us.

I feel like I am being nice by giving this restaurant a 2 star. It was attached to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. I really wished we had gone somewhere else that we know is good. It is an old little place that severally needs updating. Our waiter was not that great, and not to mention we were the only people in the restaurant other than a few at the bar. That should have been a hint for us to try a different place. The menu was limited and really didn't have anything other than salmon that I would be interested in eating. Most everything was fried and nothing I could even eat. So needless to say I tried the salmon served with veggies and French fries. The salmon was tasteless and super dry... Totally gross! The French fries were the only thing I liked on my entire plate. Other people at the table tried the chicken and Fish and chips and they all said the food was awful. I really wished this little restaurant tucked away in Estes Park had been better. Sad to say we will not be back.

I give it 1 star for the service! We went there because it was in our hotel. Our waitress was great! The food on the other hand was not! The bbq chicken was leftover not fresh and cost $14. The pot roast was okay! I wouldn't go there again!!

Food was greasy, tables were not bused of dirty dishes, limited selection on menu, more like a fast food restaurant in the low to middle quality, definitely would not eat here again

There are so many good options within walking distance of the hotel, and I would not recommend this place unless you are in a great hurry. I went there for the breakfast buffet even though I saw the bad review about the pancakes, and I was sorry I went. The food was the standard breakfast fare that you would get for free at a chain hotel, plus a few hot items that did not look good. I tried the scrambled "eggs" and also the very hard pan-fried potatoes (clearly from a package). The fruit salad was so very weird - some fresh-ish mangoes mixed in with some canned fruit, and topped with chewy old coconut flakes. The loud and shouty 80's (i.e. ACDC) music did not go well with the book I was trying to read. I think it's pretty difficult to run a buffet, especially in off-season (April.) I would suggest that they think a bit about style, ambiance, menu.

Stayed at the hotel connected to the restaurant. By chance we also had a gift certificate to Longz. Figured no one could mess up steak so we both for a NY Strip. I didn't try the veggies. The garlic mashed potatoes were ok... Little too much pepper. Steak was awful. Quality was poor. Way too much fat, hard to fin good sections to eat. My husbands came out rare instead of medium rare. No seasoning no flavor. Worst part is it was $18 a plate! The star is for the service. No problem there. Service was prompt and friendly. She kept our drinks full. There was only one other couple in the place, but we were a little early. Honestly thought they couldn't mess up steak, but his was pretty bad. Can't wait to throw one of ours on the grill tonight! If you go, try a burger. We ended up getting pizza down the road later.

We had the breakfast buffet here today while we were up in Estes Park. It was fairly pricey ($9.75), my biggest complaint was the pancakes they had were cold! Cold pancakes are not good at all unfortunately. The rest of the buffet was pretty good but what a HUGE disappointment on the COLD pancakes. The server was pretty friendly and the setting was comfortable and pretty quiet. Don't think I would pay 9.75 again for cold food though. For some reason they continued to leave the lid to the pancake warmer open I guess so they did not get soggy maybe, but the result was bad cold food. To the management I would re-evaluate this as very disappointing in my opinion.
